Fran has been involved in the research and analysis business for the past 15 years. In the late 1980s and early 1990s she worked in the Far East, including a four-year stint at the Economist Intelligence Unit where she was in charge of developing a range of business publications.
On her return to Europe in 1995, Fran turned to focus on the enterprise business applications market, working for KPMG Consulting. In early 2000 she joined the Aberdeen Group upon its launch in Europe and developed a practice focusing on the European enterprise business applications space.
Fran brings to Bloor Research a wide range of consulting and research experience, having worked with both end-user organisations and software vendors. Recently published reports that she has written have examined the procurement, sourcing and private exchange markets - including best practice case studies from end-user organisations. In addition to regular contributions to IT-Director.com and IT-Analysis.com, Fran regularly writes on issues pertaining to the European security market.
