There’s a lively new discussion group on LinkedIn called Go-Social. Its subject matter is marketing through social media and it is aimed at Britons.
Membership reached 2,000 a few days ago, mainly through the efforts of the group’s founder, Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp. He’s one of those energetic people whose CV makes you feel tired just reading it.
As with any online group there is a high proportion of lurkers but the number of active members is growing, as is the range of discussions.
The group is well worth visiting if you find the topic interesting. You need to register with LinkedIn to join the discussions but that’s free at the basic level. The discussions are here. There are also real meetings you can attend and various workshops.
