With a great fanfare, Jive Software last month published a survey report extolling the benefits of online collaboration. I thought the findings did not support some of the claims made.
Meanwhile, and without ballyhoo, members of Jive’s user community were compiling something of real value and substance. This is a list of ways enterprise social networking can be applied within organizations, especially larger ones. The process was begun by Gia Lyons, who is a strategic adviser at Jive and its Business Community Manager.
The list appears in two forms — organized by employee activity and organized by business unit activity. In either form, the lists’ contents would be helpful to anyone involved in introducing or managing enterprise collaborative software.
You don’t need to be a Jive customer to see these and other discussions on its community pages, but do need to register if you wish to contribute.
