I'm sorry to tell you that I am discontinuing this blog. Indeed, I am giving up computer industry watching altogether.

30-plus years is long enough. I'm seeing the same topics, concerns, hopes and mistakes come around for the third or fourth time and it no longer excites me.

Instead, I shall concentrate on my travel writing at Roger's Rambles and my photography, at Roger Whitehead Photography and on Flickr.

I shall leave these pages here for a while in case anyone wishes to refer to them but shan't be maintaining the links from them.

Thank you for reading my thoughts on the life electronic. I hope some of them have proved useful.
