News Release

Tahola partners with best in class cloud hosting provider Carrenza
Released: 17th July 2013
Publisher: Carrenza

Tahola Limited, specialists in Business Intelligence and Analytics, has announced that it has entered into partnership with Carrenza to offer enhanced solutions to their customers by utilising Carrenza’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud offering.

One of the first IaaS organisations in the world, Carrenza’s expertise is in delivering complex technical solutions in the cloud, working with companies such as Comic Relief, Fourth and Cineworld.

Not only is the Carrenza Cloud a more cost effective solution for Tahola customers, but Carrenza’s expertise in delivering IaaS solutions will provide them with an alternative to running the infrastructure in-house, which helps free up vital resource to focus on more strategic projects.

Simon Blackbourne, Commercial Director at Tahola, said “We are delighted to be working with a cloud provider with such experience and credentials.  Our customers will be able to benefit from Carrenza’s outstanding services to support business critical systems, while helping them save money and enhance productivity.”

Two of the key reasons Tahola have chosen to work with Carrenza are:

  • they offer a flexible commercial model, where the customer commits to a budget rather than a specific set of services
  • they provide an automated infrastructure which will make it easy and more cost effective for their customers to rapidly scale up during peak times and back down again when it is quieter.

Blackbourne concludes “Carrenza’s IaaS provides all of the benefits and security of a private cloud coupled with the elasticity, scalability and other benefits inherent in the public cloud. This will benefit our customers as they look to leverage the on-demand and elasticity advantages of the cloud whilst minimising risk and ensuring their company’s data is secure.”

Dan Sutherland, CEO at Carrenza comments “I am very pleased to welcome Tahola to our partner ecosystem and look forward to working with them to deliver business intelligence as a service.”
