News Release

m-hance receives over 3,000 applications for 2013 graduate scheme

Innovative software developer receives record number of applications for six positions
Released: 24th July 2013
Publisher: m-hance

m-hance, a fast-growing business software solutions provider, has received a record number of applications to join its 2013 graduate recruitment scheme. m-hance’s graduate programme, developed in partnership with specialist recruitment firm Discovery Graduates, has attracted over 3,000 job applications for just six positions, more than double the number of applicants it enticed to its inaugural graduate scheme in 2012. The graduate roles will be based at m-hance’s headquarters in Stockport from September 2013.

The successful candidates will be given permanent placements in five business areas including product development, consulting, pre-sales, marketing and public relations. The marketing roles have proven to be particularly popular following the company achieving recognition at this year’s CIM Marketing Excellence Awards. In addition to being given permanent full-time paid positions, m-hance graduates will also receive ongoing development through Discovery’s OPEN programme and have the opportunity to study for a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Development, Leadership and Organisational Change.

Mark Thompson, CEO of m-hance, says, “We are eager to build on the success of our inaugural graduate programme in 2012 and have been hugely impressed by the talent and number of graduates who have applied this year. These are exciting times for m-hance and we’re looking forward to welcoming these outstanding candidates into the business to play an instrumental part in our continued success.”

m-hance is recognised as one of the fastest growing technology firms in the UK after it appeared in the prestigious 2012 Tech Track 100 league table. This was after the business achieved year-on-year sales growth of 45 per cent, from £3.1m in 2008 to an annualised £9.6m in 2011. Following several key business wins, m-hance’s compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) grew to 89 per cent over the three year period ending 2012.

Thompson comments, “m-hance is evolving all the time and we are not only meeting our targets, but exceeding them as a rapidly growing and financially strong business. Graduates joining us can expect challenging roles and will receive extensive training and development plus exposure to several key areas of the business in order to accelerate their progression. They will also be given the opportunity to work with world leading technologies and be given early responsibility to make a unique contribution to shape our future.”

m-hance currently employs 230 staff from offices across the UK, Ireland, the United States and India. To support its ambitious growth strategy the company is investing strongly in developing innovative cloud, mobile and collaborative applications to complement its portfolio of back-office business systems which comprise integrated financial management, customer relationship management and intranet-based solutions. These solutions improve productivity and provide a swift return on investment in typically six months.
