Perforce Expands its Global Reach with New Sales Partner Bechtle

Perforce version management solutions and services now available directly through leading German IT e-commerce provider across all European territories

London (UK), Nov 21, 2013: Perforce Software today announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with German IT e-commerce provider, Bechtle AG. The partnership will allow Bechtle, as well as its Comsoft associated subsidiaries to sell the full version management portfolio from Perforce, including its latest code collaboration and document collaboration products.

Bechtle plans to make the Perforce solution portfolio a core part of its overall Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution stack. The agreement gives Bechtle the rights to sell all Perforce products across Europe.

"We carried out an extensive evaluation to find the best-of-breed vendors to fill-out our ALM stack” says Mathias Schick, Head of Portfolio Management C-Software at Bechtle. “Perforce met all of our requirements for a scalable and robust Version Management System. Its unique ability to support large, distributed teams, hundreds of terabytes of data and even the largest binary assets was unique in the market."

Bechtle joins a growing partner eco-system at Perforce. Sales partners, such as Asia-based Toyo, ESL in Israel, Antycip in France and Evocean in Switzerland, ensure that enterprise-grade version management technology is available worldwide with some of the partner network providing localised support.
