London, UK – 28 November , 2013 – aPriori, a provider of enterprise product cost management software solutions, today announced its expansion in southern Europe with the appointment of Nathalie Carreiras as sales director for Italy, Portugal and Spain. With this hire, aPriori is building on the strong growth it has seen in the region and the increasing demand for its solutions from the automotive, transportation, white goods, appliances and agricultural manufacturing sectors.
Headquartered outside of Boston in the US, aPriori currently has European offices in Surrey, Hamburg and Strasbourg with customers concentrated in UK, Germany and France as well as customers in Italy, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Carreiras, who speaks French, Portuguese, Spanish, English, German and Italian, will be based in Portugal and report to Arnaud Walburger, EMEA director.
"This is an exciting time to be joining aPriori as it expands its presence in the marketplace," said Carreiras. “The company has already established a presence in Italy with some household brand names and now we have an opportunity to build on that success. The fact that aPriori already has a strong local team in Europe that understands the local challenges and differences gives us a big advantage over other players in the market."
Before joining aPriori, Carreiras spent four and a half years as key account manager at Autodesk, a leading CAD/CAM software company and four plus years as sales engineer for Moldflow which was acquired by Autodesk in 2009.
