ARX appoints Ronan Lavelle as UK country manager

Appointment follows strong growth in digital signature usage in the UK and Irish markets
Released: 17th October 2013
Publisher: ARX

Reading, UK, October 17 2013 – ARX Inc., the market leader in digital signature solutions, has announced that Ronan Lavelle has joined the company as UK Country Manager. With millions of users around the world, CoSign by ARX is the most widely-deployed digital signature solution. Existing customers for ARX in the UK include a wide range of engineering, life sciences, legal and financial services companies, as well as public sector organisations such as defence services and universities.

Mr. Lavelle has joined ARX at a pivotal point in its evolution following CoSign’s recognition by Forrester Research earlier this year as the ‘Strongest Digital Signature solution’ in their Forrester Wave: E-Signatures, Q2 2013 report. Considering the growing worldwide acceptance of digital signatures, ARX views the UK in particular as one of its most promising markets. As the Forrester report states, “Electronic signatures are gaining momentum due to rapidly evolving consumer technology and the need to reduce transaction costs and the time to close business.”

Says Ronan Lavelle: “Manual signatures are a broken link in the end-to-end paperless processes that companies of all sectors are looking to implement. The growing number of organisations who are now migrating to digital signatures as part of their paperless initiatives are seeing significant savings on paper-related costs (printing, faxing, filing, couriering, etc.), as well as on staff time with signature collection turnarounds reduced from days and weeks down to just hours.”

Ronan brings with him 18 years’ experience in information, document, content, contract and workflow management technologies. Beginning his career at Cambridge Market Intelligence (acquired by Gartner), he then held senior marketing and management roles at companies including Corechange, Hummingbird and OpenText where he was General Manager for EMEA for eDOCS and the Mid-Market Line of Business. Ronan also spent several years working with start-ups, including Dolphin Software, which he co-founded, and as CEO of Azurati. Ronan has also been an advisor on Entrepreneurship and Employability to Brunel University.
