Didrok Announces Launch of for freight spot bids
Released: 12th September 2013
Publisher: Didrok

FreightForge features a simple yet powerful tool to manage freight spot bids across geographies and industries.

“Many shippers struggle to find optimum spot prices in the market, while many carriers spend considerable amount of money and resources looking for new business” said CEO Martine Treuiller. “We felt there was a niche for a new type of online/mobile tool that connects companies through process integration rather than through phone calls or emails. Companies that are looking for more simplicity, more integration and cost reduction opportunities will be interested to discover this new tool.”

There are multiple logistic directories and portals but FreightForge intends to offer something different. “It makes no sense that shippers and carriers invest in internal IT project without much possibilities to connect with unknown/less known parties.” Martine continued “Our technology changes the way shippers and carrier can collaborate on spot bids. It adapts to each party’s technology maturity while providing control and security.”

FreightForge will be launched in France, Germany, US and England on the 8th of September. “Our goal is to support all of North America and Europe within 6 months,” Martine said.
