Privacy Statement

IT-Analysis.com has firm beliefs that your private data should remain just that, private. We will not, under any circumstances, sell or trade information about our members with any third party.

1. Who we are

In this Privacy Policy references to "we" and "us" are to IT-Analysis.com

2. What information we collect and how

The information we collect via this website may include:

  1. Any personal details you type in and submit during optional registration. This includes name, company, job title, email address etc.
  2. Additional information through participation in online surveys, competitions and offers.
  3. Your preferences and use of email updates, recorded by emails we send you (all emails are optional and opt-in).
  4. Your IP address, browser, page requested, and the date/time is automatically logged by our web server. This information will be compiled into reports and used internally to monitor the strenths and weaknesses of our website.
  5. Session information stored in cookies, these do not include any personal information and are used to ensure the correct data is extracted from the database when using our interactive systems. Our session cookies, labelled ITASESSID, expire when you exit your web browser.
  6. Under no circumstances will we hold sensitive payment details such as your card number, expiry date and security code. Transactions are handled through our accredited payment bureau, DataCash Ltd (www.datacash.com) and our research provider, InfoEdge (www.infoedge.com)

3. What we do with your information

Any personal information we collect from this website will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws. The details we collect will be used:-

  1. To publish content on our website (articles, comments, events, press releases etc).
  2. To send electronic newsletters, you will be asked to opt in to this service and can unsubscribe at any time.
  3. To send you information on site updates. In such a case you will be offered the option to opt in.

We may need to pass the information we collect to other companies for administrative purposes. We may use third parties to carry out certain activities, such as monitoring how customers use our site and issuing our e-mails for us. However, please note that we may need to keep some personal data in order to process orders or to comply with customer service / after sale obligations.
