Nottingham, 28th March 2011 – In a five-year contract, the charity, Making Space, has selected MidlandHR’s iTrent solution, the single platform for talent management, workforce planning, HR and payroll. To be hosted and managed at Making Space’s premises in Warrington, MidlandHR will process BACS payments in addition to printing and distributing payslips on the charity’s behalf. Work began on the implementation in September and iTrent went live in February 2011.
Kenneth Power, HR director at Making Space comments: “As part of a strategy to extend our services across the UK, in the autumn of 2009 we reviewed our HR and payroll processes as we felt that the organisation had outgrown the existing system. The review unveiled fundamental inadequacies across HR and payroll departments.
“We chose MidlandHR’s iTrent solution to transform and modernise our processes through a single solution. The expected efficiencies to be realised though the iTrent solution will be unprecedented in comparison to previous ways of working. Many traditional HR tasks will soon be managed by individual employees and line managers, further increasing efficiencies, providing greater business flexibility and enhancing employee engagement levels through trust and enablement.”
Iain Moffat, managing director at MidlandHR explains: “We are delighted to welcome Making Space on board with the iTrent solution. The charity will be able to streamline its transactional processes through iTrent’s single platform, driving HR and payroll administrative efficiencies through best practice operating models. More importantly, the data presented within iTrent will become a strategic enabler, helping management make informed decisions to ensure workforce optimisation.
“MidlandHR’s reputation and specialism within the not-for-profit sector increases by the day, allowing us to deliver increased value to UK charities. Making Space has joined our charity customer base including organisations like The Salvation Army and Action for Children.”
