CleverTouch drives B2B Marketing Automation uptake with 70% growth
Released: 28th February 2013
Publisher: RealWire

- Fastest growing B2B marketing consultancy sees Marketing Automation boom in 2012 and adds over 30 clients to its portfolio -

The demand for Marketing Automation (MA) platforms has generated 70% growth for CleverTouch, the joined-up marketing consultancy.

The company, which helps organisations accelerate their business growth by focusing on sales and marketing alignment, and the intelligent use of marketing technologies, has seen a boom in demand for its services. Its growth in the space was recognised by B2B Marketing, which named CleverTouch the fastest growing B2B agency of 2012.

Now entering its fifth year, the company is continuing to grow in all aspects of the business and will shortly be launching two new ventures. One of which is a software product, CrowdVu, a social search and discovery engine, and the other a new business focussed on content, channel and communities.

“The first four years have been a lot of fun and quite a journey,” reflects Adam Sharp, Group MD, CleverTouch. “We have a great client base of some of the most sophisticated Marketing Automation environments globally and to support them we have hired and developed some truly outstanding people. Today that team has more experience on more MA platforms than anyone, so we really can give independent best practice advice.”

The company has already increased its staff headcount by 60% and plans to recruit across the board over the next year.  To further support the company’s plans to grow, CleverTouch has implemented; a talent management programme for all employees, a leadership and development programme for those looking to grow into people management and a citizenship initiative that is ingrained across the organisation.

“Whilst the core of CleverTouch will always be around Marketing Automation optimisation,” Sharp also goes on to say that, “2013 will see us expand our offerings, not least with the aforementioned new product and business launch but, also through the development of our data architecture services specifically to optimise our client’s existing MA investments.”

With CleverTouch developing its business across all four high growth areas of Marketing; Social, Mobile, Big Data and Cloud, the company expects at least 50% growth p.a. over the next three years.
