News Release

Xceed Group recognised in The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100

Firm named as one of Britain's 100 fastest growing tech companies
Released: 16th September 2013
Publisher: Xceed Group

Xceed Group, an independent IT and business change professional services firm, has been recognised in The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100. The league table charting Britain's fastest growing private technology, media and telecoms companies has positioned Xceed at 77th, thanks to ten years of consistent growth.

Xceed, which provides IT professional services for a range of FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients within financial services, telecommunications, media and energy markets, was founded in 2003. It brings together experienced IT professionals who share the vision to build long term client relationships through the consistent and reliable delivery of professional IT services. Xceed’s inception was triggered by the Board's deep-seated belief that companies could be getting better value for their investment in professional services than they had previously seen during their careers in tier-one consultancy firms.

“After 10 years of consistently outstanding growth we’re delighted to be recognised as one of Britain’s fastest moving companies,” commented Gary Stewart, founder and board director at Xceed. “Being included in the Tech Track 100 for fastest growing sales is a fantastic validation of the service we provide.”

Stewart added: “British technology companies are some of the most innovative in the world, and have an important role to play in driving the British economy forward. This summer in London alone, the technology, media and telecoms sector accounted for 8% of GDP[1]. The Tech Track 100 is a fantastic demonstration of the talent and success in this sector.”

Steve Langan, managing director of Hiscox UK and Ireland, the title sponsor of the league table, commented: “The passion, determination and resilience that this year’s Tech Track 100 businesses have demonstrated is no mean feat given the economic context and continued challenging trading conditions.  We are pleased to be able to celebrate some of the brave and the bold tech companies that exist up and down the country, and hope that their success now inspires others too.”

Previous companies included in the league table include Wonga.com, LoveFilm and Sophos. The Tech Track 100 was published inside the Business section of The Sunday Times on September 15, 2013. It also appeared in The Sunday Times digital edition and on www.fasttrack.co.uk. The league table is currently in its thirteenth year of publication.
