InTechnology and customer Giles Insurance to outline the benefits of Cloud Computing at the 3rd Cloud Circle Forum

On 16th September 2010, at the Park Plaza Hotel, Victoria, The Cloud Circle will hold its 3rd Forum event to help address the challenges of cloud computing raised by members.

InTechnology Plc - who were Platinum Sponsors of the inaugural Cloud Circle Forum - will explain how to leverage the benefits of Cloud Computing and change the way you do business.

Speaking in the afternoon, Richard Quine, Product Director, Voice & Unified Communications, InTechnology will cover the section entitled Transformational case study (2); How we leveraged the benefits of Cloud Computing and changed the way we do business.

Quine will be joined by Richard Corner from Giles Insurance Brokers Ltd - - one of the top independent insurance brokers in the UK. Richard Corner will provide the audience with a clear and unbiased firsthand account of cloud computing and the effect it has had on their business, taking into account the challenges overcome as well as the benefits.

The presenters will cover topics such as how do we select the right applications and business processes to migrate to the Cloud? And what are the challenges we face - e.g. interoperability, portability concerns, security concerns and how do we overcome them?

What are the financial benefits of Cloud Computing as well as the overall benefits?

The two presentations will explore topics beyond mere cost cutting and low hanging fruit; they will consider how Cloud Computing has transformed the way we do business and how the IT function has evolved from back office to business architects.

Finally this discussion by Richard Quine and Richard Corner will look to the future and consider what is next on the horizon for customers by exploiting Cloud Computing.
