RES Software Expands Reseller and Partner Channel To Meet UK Market Requirements
Released: 31st May 2011
Publisher: RES Software

Frimley, UK – 31st May 2011 – RES Software, the proven leader in dynamic desktop solutions, today announced that it has expanded its roster of channel partners in the UK with the appointment of five new organisations to its channel programme. The appointments bolster its existing line-up of resellers and address the market need for desktop management and IT orchestration solutions across hybrid desktop environments.

RES Software has signed agreements with Agilisys, LETN, Foundation IT, I-innovate and Vcentral to meet the demand that exists across the UK for desktop management solutions that meet customer requirements for greater flexibility and responsiveness, no matter how or where users are accessing their desktops. The ability to meet these requirements is dependent on RES Software support for delivering desktop sessions dynamically and based on the context of the user regardless of delivery platform or device type.

Chris Hammans, Regional Director UK for RES Software commented, “We are seeing a huge growth rate for desktop management and transformation solutions in the market locally, and we have recruited these partners to help us address these opportunities. Working with our new and existing partners, we expect to continue this phase of our growth, based on opportunities around desktop virtualisation and the requirements for greater flexibility in delivering desktop services across hybrid environments. The launch of RES Dynamic Desktop Studio Lite has helped us expand the number of needs that we can address.”

“There is an incredible amount of interest from customers around how they can reduce the cost of managing desktops at the moment. This is being driven by large potential desktop refresh projects, where new operating systems or virtual desktops are being considered, and the availability of new form factors like tablets and Apple iPads. Providing solutions that can tie all these requirements together while still enabling IT to manage desktops effectively will be significant for LETN in the future. We have chosen to work with RES Software to capitalise on these opportunities,” said Steve Denby, Sales Director, LETN.

RES Software provides solutions that allow organisations to maintain their desktops more efficiently. The products can help businesses secure and manage their desktops however they choose to deliver them based on the context of their users, including where they are located, what device they are using, and even the time of day.
