Publisher: PR Artistry

Carval Computing, a specialist supplier of fully integrated Human Resources, Time and Attendance (T&A) and Payroll software, has promoted Jason Sweby to Technical Director.  This will support the company’s continued business growth and the increasing demand from customers for creative solutions that incorporate the latest advancements in technology.  In his new role, Jason, a graduate in computer science who has worked at Carval for over 15 years, heads up a dedicated team of software developers that has doubled in size in the last 18 months.

Since joining Carval, Jason has held a variety of software development roles progressing to Software Development Manager before becoming Technical Director.  His most recent project has been successfully completing a complete overhaul of Carval’s HR Unity HR and Payroll software solutions, HR Unity v5.0, which is providing many new streamlined features for users.  His current focus is introducing the latest mobile (iOS and Android) capabilities into the product portfolio, the only truly integrated HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance and Self-Service software available in the UK.

Commenting on his new appointment, Jason Sweby said, “We are in a highly dynamic market where advances in technology are emerging almost daily and having a talented team of individuals you can rely on is critical.  I look forward to the next chapter in the growth of Carval as we continue to work with our customers, helping them solve their real-life business issues with clever technology.”

Next on the horizon is re-working Carval’s Self-Service software, using the latest development techniques to modernise its functionality, improve the look and feel of the product and introduce a platform that will facilitate and accelerate future product enhancements.

John Ovington, Sales and Support Director at Carval Computing said; “A highly experienced software developer, Jason is one of the best in his field.  His customer-focused approach will be fundamental to our business success.  Recognising the importance of producing products that customers actually want is second-nature to him.  These are exciting times for Carval and I am 100% confident that Jason can deliver an equally exciting range of new solutions that reflect our dynamic business.”
