Spreadsheet Management: Prodiance

Spreadsheet management, as a matter of principle, is required because spreadsheets frequently hold financial and other data that are critical to your business. They are subject to fraud, error and compliance and are frequently a part of risk management. Moreover, spreadsheets are often unknown to the IT department and are frequently ungoverned. Further, it is common to find that other so-called ‘end user computing’ resources such as Access databases and Crystal Reports are similarly ungoverned, and it may therefore be useful if spreadsheet solutions also have capabilities for governing these data sources.
