Released: 2nd December 2013
Publisher: C2C Ltd

Reading, UK., Dec 02, 2013 - C2C, a leading provider of email archiving and information management solutions, were delighted last week to receive  one of the prestigious  2013 Storage Virtualisation & Cloud  (SVC) Awards’  with the Public Sector Storage Project of the Year.   The award recognised the ArchiveOne installation successfully running at the Portsmouth Grammar School. C2C was the only archiving vendor to receive an accolade, with the SVC Awards being widely acknowledged as having one of the highest quality independent judging panels. The judges deliberated hundreds of nominations across a two month period and the process culminated in a glittering ceremony at London’s Jumeriah Tower hotel.

C2C’s Sales Director,  Andrew Brown was there to collect the award, alongside a thrilled Trevor Barker, Network Manager, Portsmouth Grammar School.

Andrew commented:- “This is a great achievement  and endorsement for both C2C and Portsmouth Grammar School.   This is not just an award about technology across a large enterprise, but readily achievable real life every-day savings and benefits to the end user.”

Trevor continues:  “We believe the judges were impressed by Portsmouth Grammar’s ongoing success in bolstering our staff mailboxes, reducing the size of our email store to allow easy migration to Microsoft Exchange 2010 and to provide retrieval, bringing us significant storage overhead reductions and easier management. It was great to be there to receive the award in person. “
