OKI Systems UK's new mono multifunctional printers build on the success of its enterprise-class MFPs
Released: 8th November 2013
Publisher: OKI systems UK

OKI Systems UK Ltd has launched its new range of A4 mono MFPs, the MB700 Series, designed to expand on the recent success of the award winning MC700 Series of A4 colour MFPs launched earlier this year.

The MC700/MB700 Series provide additional levels of business productivity through sXP (smart Extendable Platform), an embedded open platform offering enhanced workflow integration and document management, across the business. The new
range of mono and colour MFPs provide additional flexibility, allowing organisations to select the model and options specific to their business needs, for optimum print effectiveness.

Over the past 18 months, OKI has added to its SMB offering with a series of products which have been well-received by micro, small and medium sized business users. As a result, OKI has increased market share, reinforcing the company’s
reputation for its customer-centric approach in providing businesses with reliable, high-quality and cost-effective print solutions.

“Our new portfolio of A4, colour and mono MFPs extends this successful approach to the larger workgroup and enterprise market,” confirms Andrew Hall, marketing manager, OKI Systems UK, “this is down to a combination of enterprise-class
functionality, security and flexibility, backed by comprehensive document workflow support.

“By improving the way documents are handled, managed and processed, this will deliver significant operational efficiencies and cost savings to the organisation, ensuring that their print capability fully supports the broader objectives of the business.”

Award winning Technology
As with the new MB700 Series, the MC700 Series offers organisations greater business productivity, workflow integration and document management. Since its launch earlier this year, the MC700 Series has already received a very strong and positive response from the market including a number of prestigious accolades:

Driving business productivity
The MC700/MB700 Series enables businesses to move from a manual paper-based workflow into a digital workflow. The open architecture sXP enables seamless integration of workflows into the end user’s information infrastructure allowing businesses to benefit from lower costs, improved productivity and operational efficiencies.

In addition, the MC700/MB700 Series includes software for effective device management tasks such as remote diagnostics and document output controls including print tracking and authentication.

“In selecting the most appropriate print solution, some organisations will focus on improving productivity and efficiency, whereas others may focus on controlling print usage or an environmentally-friendly solution with low running and aintenance costs,” says Hall. “Whatever the priorities of the individual business, OKI’s highly flexible range of mono and colour MFPs can be tailored to meet each of these diverse demands.”

High performance, unrivalled flexibility
The MC700/MB700 Series includes the following models:

The MC760dn, MC770dn, MC780dfn, MB760dn, MB770dn and MB770dfn - All models have a convenience stapler as standard to facilitate post production finishing. The dfn models come with an internal finisher for automated document collation and stapling.

The new mono and colour MFPs benefit from the latest OKI LED print engine technology.  All models come with a 23cm, colour-backlit touch screen with an easy-to-use control panel enabling personalised user settings.

In all models the scanner and the print engine are based on OKI’s LED technology, delivering print speeds of up to 40ppm (MC780) and 52ppm (MB770). Other enterprise-class functionality includes duplex printing and scanning, flexible scan destinations and formats and large-capacity 160GB hard drive as standard.

These eco-friendly mono MFPs have advanced security features including secure PIN printing, data encryption and disk wiping and a secure print with card release option. The ergonomic design enables easy access to consumables and offers a
variety of optional paper trays for flexible paper capacity and paper feed options.

The MC700/MB700 Series is also backed by OKI UK’s three-year warranty on registration of the product within 30 days.

Enhancing OKI’s Managed Print Services Offering
“Every aspect of the MC700 and MB700 Series design reflects our ‘no compromise’ approach to providing customers with flexible, high-productivity print to meet the demands of the business.  The awards and positive reviews the MC700 has already received in such a short period is a testament to this and we expect the same response from the market for the MB700 Series” confirms Hall.

“These enterprise-class MFPs are not only an important addition to our product portfolio they  will also significantly strengthen our managed print services strategy, which aims to provide products that meet the precise needs
of each customer.”
